This video has nothing to do with NYC other than the fact this city has re-inspired me to street skate. I came across the skate video from Japan that reminds me how fun skateboarding can be. It's about being creative with your terrain and invent new things you can do with what's in front of you. This little diddly of a video really makes me want to go roll around the streets of Manhattan and just have fun, no need for a skateboard park.

Nike ID Lab-Soho
As much as I'm trying to resist it but I really want to do up a shoe. The lab has all these fabrics and materials on display to choose from which is an entirely different experience than designing one online. You can design an Airforce one for a $130 bucks with 4 week turnaround time, that's pretty good.
